Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Life Travels Kandy, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our partners while ensuring the highest quality of service.

Tour Cancellations by the Customer

If you need to cancel your tour, please notify us in writing by email or WhatsApp as soon as possible.

The following cancellation charges may apply:

• 30 days or more before departure: Full refund (excluding any non-refundable third-party booking fees, if applicable).
• 15–29 days before departure: 75% refund.
• 7–14 days before departure: 50% refund.
• Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: No refund.

Certain services such as train tickets, domestic flights, safari permits, hotel reservations, or attraction tickets may be subject to the cancellation policies of the respective service providers.

Changes to Your Booking

Requests to change travel dates or tour itineraries are subject to availability. Additional costs may apply depending on the changes requested.

Cancellation by Life Travels Kandy

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other events beyond our control, we will offer either:

* An alternative tour or travel date, or
* A refund for the services paid directly to Life Travels Kandy that cannot be provided.

We are not responsible for expenses incurred for services booked independently by the customer.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Please allow 7–14 business days for the refund to be completed, depending on your payment provider.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, personal belongings, and unexpected travel disruptions.
